Apricot came to Rabbit Rescue in May 2024 after she’d been dumped outside. She was only 3-4 months old at the time, so likely she was an Easter present and dumped outside when the family no longer wanted her.
Apricot hasn’t let that affect her, proving to be a friendly little bun. She has the most beautiful light orange and brown colouring with white spots. You can see where she got her name from!
She is curious, but cautious. Her foster mom suspects she could be a wonderful free-roam bunny (especially since she’s an expert escape artist from her pen!). She loves to explore, and jump onto everything, including humans! Apricot also loves to nestle in her foster mum’s neck, and will happily sit on her shoulder.
Before her hormones kicked in she had impeccable litter skills, so we suspect she’ll be even more perfect now that she has been spayed. She LOVES to flop, so she can’t go anywhere without her flop bed! Apricot also craves attention. She loves to be pet and gives so many kisses to both her humans and her bunny stuffy. For this reason she would definitely thrive with a bun partner.
