Charlotte came to Rabbit Rescue from a shelter in Quebec after she was placed on a euthanasia list due to overcrowding. Given only days to live, she was saved in time by a wonderful foster home.
Charlotte is the most lovely and sweetest bun! She looooves head rubs and will flatten like a pancake, laying still for a long long time to get as many head rubs in as possible. And why wouldn’t anyone want to pet this little floof of a bun? She has the most stunning jet black velvety coat….this black beauty sure is a show stopper in coat and personality.
Charlotte is a very social and curious bun and she isn’t afraid of vinyl floors or the cat in the home! She doesn’t want to jump up on the couch and prefers hiding in the cat tree tunnel and running across the floor. But her foster mom thinks that once she is in tip top athletic shape, she will be a more active bun. (Note: Charlotte came to RR quite overweight and is currently on a gradual weight loss plan).
She does cute little head binkies before she gets her morning pellets and runs around excited in her pen before they drop in the bowl. Every time her foster mom approaches her pen, she greets her and loves the attention of more head rubs.
As for food, so far, every green that has been offered to her she has liked and doesn’t seem picky at all. She will prefer to eat pellets over hay or greens, but has been getting much better with the hay consumption compared to when she first arrived in foster care.
She has excellent litter habits despite not being spayed yet and only leaves a stray poop here and there. Charlotte was recently spayed and will most likely have perfect litter skills.
Some of her most adorable skills are to sprawl out on the floor and show off her cute little bunny butt and her cute little bed “fluffing” arrangements.
Charlotte is a wonderful bunny and would love to join your family! Apply to adopt her today!
