BunBun is a sweet little 3-pound bunny who would be a wonderful companion for many types of homes, including smaller living spaces and condos. But don’t let his size fool you. He has a big personality packed into his tiny body!

He is a gentle bunny who loves head pets and will lower his head to enjoy them. He is curious and gets excited when food is involved, often running little circles around you while waiting for his treats. He loves his pellets and fresh veggies, especially romaine lettuce and parsley.  

Despite being a little guy, BunBun is very laid back. Even around a much bigger resident cat, he is calm and relaxed.

BunBun is a good little guy who is not interested in chewing furniture or baseboards. He is still learning some healthy habits, including eating more hay and improving his litter habits. With the right family, BunBun will continue building healthy habits and have someone who can help bring out just how special he is.  

He loves exploring during playtime outside his pen and happily returns when he is ready to relax. BunBun would make a wonderful solo companion, but may also enjoy the company of a confident female bunny.

How BunBun came to Rabbit Rescue:

BunBun was surrendered to Rabbit Rescue as his owner could no longer keep him. After months of attempting to rehome him without success, his owner let us know he would be euthanized without placement. We found an adopter in time, however upon arrival to the rescue it was clear he had some medical issues which were not disclosed to us. As a result, his adopter let us know that they no longer wanted him. We found emergency foster placement for him and he began treatment for his medical issues which include a skin infection on his jaw & chin and sharp dental points. He is responding well to treatment and once the infection is cleared, will have further assessment for his teeth.
