Tulip and Trillium came to Rabbit Rescue from a shelter in Quebec after they had been placed on a euthanasia list due to overcrowding and given only days to live. Fortunately they are happily settling into their new life in foster care!
Tulip and Trillium are very active rabbits that are always busy on their next adventure. They love to run, binky, and explore. They may be teeny tiny, but they are big on both adorableness and delightful mischief.
These two are huge fans of food and love to eat their hay, pellets, and greens. Some of their favourites are dill, cilantro and parsley. They also love banana and apple which they enjoy once a week as a treat.
Tulip and Trillium love to be pet and will both give kisses. They can frequently be found snuggling together and are happy for you to join in on the cuddle pile!
Trillium (brown and white rex) will win you over with his velvety soft fur, little pink nose, and hilarious antics. He will happily help you look for greens in the fridge (he might hop right in to investigate!) and is not slowed down one bit by hardwood floors. You can almost see Trillium activate his little bunny brain when he’s planning his next adventure. A tall pen or a room with a closed door are recommended to ensure this clever bun has planned excursions only. Thorough bun-proofing is also recommended for this curious guy!
Stunning in black and white, Tulip is becoming such a sweetheart. She tooth purrs when being petted and will give tiny kisses. She has quickly adapted to her new foster home and likes to hop up to explore the couch. While not quite as fearless as Trillium, Tulip will still venture out on the hardwood floors to check things out. She prefers a carpeted runway so that she can dazzle you with zoomies and binkies! In a very short time, Tulip has been making great strides with feeling more settled and reducing reactive behaviours. With more time and consistency, Tulip’s foster mom thinks we will continue to see Tulip’s softer side blossom as she learns that she is finally safe. Her ideal forever home includes people who fully respect her boundaries.
The only thing better than one bunny is two bunnies! If you adopt this adorable pair, they will be sure to fill your home with love and laughter.
