Willow is a sweet girl who loves the company of people! She often runs up to her enclosure walls to greet you with loving honks of excitement especially when food is involved. She loves endless head pats, cheek rubs, and scritches, and will reward you with kisses anywhere she can squeeze them in. If you’re looking for bunny love, look no further than Willow!

Willow, also known as “the princess” of the foster house, was born in 2022. She came to Rabbit Rescue from a local overfull shelter that needed help after she’d been surrendered by her previous owner.

Willow likes to spend the day playing with tunnels, digging through her hay and litter, and resting in her hidey house. She’s a sassy lady who will let you know exactly how she likes her things placed. Whatever her foster parents do usually needs a thorough inspection from this princess who can be found headbutting or pulling her toys and furniture into the right spots.

She loves her greens, especially lettuce, basil, mint and parsley. Blueberries, strawberry, raspberries, and apple flavoured bunny cookies are her favourite treats. She’ll eat any of them out of your hand and gently grab hand fed pellets.

She’s got a spacious enclosure where she plays with her toys and runs zoomies at night. In the evening, she gets free roam time outside of her enclosure and is so excited to play, sprint around, binky and explore. She can be a little bunstructive as she likes to chew and sniff new things in her surroundings so she needs a home where she can safely do that. Willow does not have “fabric” privileges, including blankets, towels, foam mats, etc, as she will chew them and is at risk of consuming them. With proper bunproofing, Willow would make a fantastic free roam bunny.

She’s showing a lot of interest in her cat housemates and recently did really well being babysat in a home with a calm golden retriever. She also loves to cuddle with and groom her foster parents. Her foster parents think she would love a laid back bun friend or a laid back furry friend.
